Burtree House Caravan Park consists of two sites - a 30 pitch Touring Area (seasonal pitches available) and a 25 pitch Rally Field. There is a heated toilet and shower block with separate disabled facilities, the whole Park being in a quiet rural setting with open countryside and mature trees.

Fishing is available on-site - see the 'Local Facilities' page with walks around the Lakes as well as footpaths to follow surrounding the Caravan Park.

The owners live nearby and have the help of a site warden, all of whom are on hand to ensure you enjoy your stay.

Whether you stay for a weekend, midweek or longer, your stay is sure to be quiet and relaxing, away from the bustle of everyday life.

Discover the charms of Wensleydale and Swaledale where there are many places of interest within very easy reach, including the historic market town of Richmond with its ancient castle; also the cathedral cities of Ripon, Durham and York are under an hours drive away. There are many pleasant walks in the area and places of particular beauty include Aysgarth Falls, Castle Bolton, Jervaulx Abbey and Lake Semmerwater, where there are boating & water ski-ing activities.

Burtree House is on the Hackforth Road out of Crakehall, about 200 yards past the Village Hall.
